教會的對面有間油廠附設診所，旁邊有快失傳的修鞋師父
The newly rebuilt church is still clever and beautiful.
There is a clinic attached to the oil factory opposite the church, and there is a quick-repairing shoe repair master.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 民國四十年代初期，高雄煉油廠算得上是全台規模最大、技術頂尖的工廠，雖然地處高雄市楠梓區，但是四周都是農田，極為偏僻，主要聯外的左楠路接左營大路，公車班次稀少；
當年在煉油廠服務的基督徒先從2~3人的家庭聚會開始，到人數漸增，就商借煉油廠幼稚園的鋁皮屋聚會，至46年2月17日正式成立教會；因當時居民之活動與左營有綿密關係，故取名「左營油廠基督教會」；
教會成立後再向煉油廠借地，於52年5月1日開始動工，建造木造教堂一座，至 52年9月8日完工獻堂。

In the early 1940s, the Kaohsiung Refinery was regarded as the largest and top-notch factory in Taiwan. Although it is located in Nantun District of Kaohsiung City, it is surrounded by farmland and is extremely remote. The main joint outside Zuonan Road is connected to Zuoying. On the road, the bus schedule is scarce;
The Christians who served in the refinery started from the family gathering of 2~3 people, and the number of people increased. They went to the aluminum-house meeting of the refinery kindergarten and officially established the church on February 17, 46. The activity has a close relationship with Zuoying, so it was named "Left Camp Oil Factory Christian Church";
After the establishment of the church, it borrowed land from the refinery. Construction began on May 1, 52, and a wooden church was built. It was completed on September 8, 52.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this church by an accident on the way to National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying). The Sunday morning service (mandarin service) was very rich learning content, not like other churches I have visited before. The parishioners were very friendly and made a special welcome announcement by the end of the service. After service lunch gathering was fantastic, very homey vibe, everyone was chatting among each other and made me felt welcomed.
