It used to be the longest iron rail bridge in Asia, designed and built by colonizing Japanese government to transport rice and sugar in and out southern disctricts. It is located in a wetland preservation park and there is also a traditional brick factory near by to visit altogether. A large free parking lot available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great day out for the family. Get there early to avoid the crowds (around 9am) and take a walk across the old railway line. Beautiful views on a sunny day and the brick factory shop is worth a look too. Delicious fruit ice pops and sausages make a welcome snack!

Wide green park available, you can see locals come here for a walk, petting, picnic, or some other family events.
Old rail section is preserved and you can walk on the old rail track on bridge, and see the real trains passing by.
Great photo spot.
Historical brick kiln house is also just nearby, and you can experience some old time farm building and history. Taiwan local souvenirs are also available here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Free parking area. The place is just an ordinary park. Good for family outing. I like the Taiwanese sausage. Only 200 persons are allowed to get inside the rail. Wide grass land which is good for badminton. Suggest to visit around afternoon.
