A	Alison C on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously good fried soup dumplings! The best we have had outside of Shanghai and better than most in Shanghai to be honest... ? The guy who runs it (I think) was really nice and happy to chat to us. Definitely try it out!
C	Chenyze LoveFood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent little kiosk for Shanghai sheng jian bao – effective bao versions of xiaolongbao, pan-fried crispy at the bottom. There's lots of broth within so best to let it cool a bit before eating! It seems like they mainly work on a pre-order basis (most customers book their orders ahead) so there usually aren't many extras for walk-in orders. It also seems like the baos are cooked in big batches every hour (e.g. 5.30pm, 6.30pm) so it you didn't call ahead, try to aim for those timings. There are a couple of seats outside and they also offer Taiwan beer on draft. The takoyaki stall next door ain't bad too.
J	Jack Didia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely yum! This is not the Taiwanese type we used to have. There is also a fun instruction about how to have this. The bottom was damn good crispy, and it was full of meat juice inside. Be careful when you are having the first bite. Definitely recommended!

They're hot and have a good amount of soup inside - be sure to bite a small hole and drink it first, otherwise it'll burst out when you bite it! It takes a bit to fry, but they do big batches, so you generally don't have to wait too long. Highly recommend getting the box of 8 - you'll definitely want more after eating a few.
P	PY H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dumpling outside is very crispy while inside is very juicy and full of soup. Dumpling itself are tasty, and would be more tasty if with chili and black vinegar. Cooking and also dine-in environment is not very clean. Always need to wait meals for a while.
