★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A second floor Japanese restaurant that you enter through a slightly sketchy looking set of stairs. This branch of Ootoya is medium sized with nice Japanese food and views over the busy intersection. Service was mixed - mostly very attentive, but it would have been good to be told that the two of the top three dishes on the menu weren’t available. You order using the screen and extra rice etc can be requested using the screen throughout your meal. Once we got the food it was generally nice, good clean flavours, generous portions, crispy fried pork. The noodles better very chewy, my wife tried them and thought that they were undercooked. I’m not sure but they were certainly on the borderline. Overall a nice experience, with some reservations.
