Proper place to spend the afternoons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is it a book store or a coffee shop or an art gallery? Not sure but you can definitely find all of the above there. Quite interesting and different, definitely worth visiting. You can stay on the first floor with a book or go upstairs for a light lunch. Overall good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here numerous times. It always amazes me with its selection of books and magazines. I've found many independent publications of high quality here. They also hold exhibitions regularly. The current theme they run is 老子 (and the last one was 莊子). The atmosphere this bookstore creates is impeccable-warm, welcoming, elegant. It never falis to relax and inspire me.
Went up to their second-floor cafe for the first time yesterday, and it was just as amazing. The seats by the window overlooking the rice field and grass outside, the homebrew coffee section, the scone (oh the scone! fluffy yet not too flaky, crispy to perfection) and tea...would definitely come to try their meals next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an avocado garlic bread here. It was pretty good except for the price. The interior was nice except it was a bit noisy as I ran into a crowd of people who just finished a hiking trip (?) and it took around 20 min for the staff to get my order. The bookstore staff was patient and helped me out with finding an old magazine issue and figuring out how to use a coupon :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bookstore in New Tile House Hakka Cultural District. A good place for couple or family would like to have leisure afternoon. Food service is also available here at the second floor of the store, price is from 6 to 15 US dollars only.
