This shop has been existed for long time, as I remembered that one of my classmate's dad ran this shop before and, so I guess he is owning it now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The porridge is light and watery which isn’t bad. You can still taste the grains. This is rice porridge and not congee. Although this place is called oyster porridge, the star is the mixed plate of roast pork and meat roll. I think if you are a first timer, you should order the mixed pork and oyster porridge and the mixed plate of roast pork and meat roll. It comes with side pickles. This cost 100ntd which is not cheap but it is meat. And good meat. No regrets. Very good. I am giving it 4 stars because there is no vegetables here. But hey, that is not their specialty. This is a special eat in Taichung.

Recommend the oyster or comprehensive (oyster + pork) porridge which is a big filling bowl of comforting fragrant celery and rice in shifan style ~ make sure to add some white pepper powder! The side dishes are all satisfying but I must particularly recommend the meat roll and the fried marinated red pork!! Those two were superb and definitely stood out way more than the fried tofu and Chinese sausage. Definitely come try for breakfast ~ pricing is very affordable too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Is more like rice in soup than porridge. but i like it especially on cold days.it makes you feel warm up after eating. i feel the portion is good with a lot of oysters. What i really like is the roasted pork. but too bad they dont have the souce (ketchup)i like otherwise will be wonderful. i normally ordered roasted pork with spring row. the place is very small so be prepare to share table with others.
