Well.... It took a little getting used to. Definitely a unique dining experience that was fun, delicious and will make you think about it the next day. Seemed a little unfair using tongs to catch live shrimp from an aquarium, but they sure tasted good. The music was a little loud and in true Taiwan style the guy on the microphone was even louder. Directions were given on how to catch, numb and prepare your feast. It wasn't all shrimp (super fresh and big) all day... there were other precooked dishes, Taiwan beer and very delicious ice cream. Fully optimizing the 2 hour time limit the quiet couple sitting next to us ate more shrimp than I could have ever imagined. Overall it was a fusion of shrimp shabu with an all you can eat buffet feel in a local open traditional Taiwanese no frills environment. Super fresh, good value and now a memory that will last a long time. No pictures... you will have to go see it for yourself. LinKou is easy to get to on the MRT.

Everything is fresh and serving is nice. The staffs are professional.

Very nice place for all you can eat shrimp

Live prawn catch urself , vegetables, meat , pastry, drinks etc. all you can eat at very reasonable price. Place is located in a convenient Avenue.

Basically I prefer to find the local restaurant to enjoy my dinner for staying in Taipei city than going down town. However, this place will be going to one of best places and worth to drive 40 to 50 minutes from Taipei city to here....

River shrimp all you can eat, within two hours! For only 40NZD (799ntd) the staffs are very kind and easy to approach. I had no clue that this restaurant needed reservations in advance, nevertheless, the staff invited us in as there was a vacant seat. It was my first time at this kinda restaurant, had no idea of how to cook the shrimps in an efficient fashion. The staff (Mr. 呂) see us struggling to grill those shrimps then kindly approached us and taught us how to effectively use the grill plates to make a vast variety of shrimp dishes and other fresh seafoods. A great place for friends & family gatherings :)

Amazing thai shrimp all you can eat BBQ. This restro has super interesting in how you get your food. There is a huge and long shrimp tank in the middle of the restro and everyone need to stand up and grip the alive shrimp from the water. Hence the shrimps are definitely fresh and tasty. Moreover, the oysters are soooo fresh and yummy too. Every fresh see food and meat are all you can eat with only around 800 NTD. I really can’t believe how the restro manager earn money?
