★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree with the previous comment. Practically nothing in here. Not worth visiting (for tourists) not unless you want to pray. A little bit far too from the other tourist destinations like the parks and museums.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was really nice scenery but the 大仏 was closed. I was able to see the outside and the temple though.
Also, kanji was hard. 寶覺寺↔宝覚寺

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely little spot tucked away in Beitun. Beautiful Buddhist Temple with Koi pond and gardens. Great place to relax, read, meditate, or take photos. I sat and watched a gardener trim hedges for half an hour. Zen like.
