★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大清砲台遺址和日本金刀比羅社遺址幾乎已被抹去，砲台只剩一個殘缺的砲座在公廁旁，廁所前方的警察遭難記念碑字跡被鑿除無法辨識，神社只剩一根被水泥抹去社名的社碑，剩1/3的參道，被埋1/3的石燈籠，環境有人打掃整理還算乾淨，休息眺望港區當一般公園休憩還可以
The ruins of the fort in the Qing Dynasty and the ruins of the Japanese Golden Sabre Biro Shrine have almost been wiped out. There is only one broken cannon pedestal next to the public toilet. The monument with the name of the company is erased, 1/3 of the access road is left, and 1/3 of the stone lanterns are buried. The environment is cleaned and tidyed up, and it is OK to rest and look at the port area as a general park.

The viewing platform of Fortress Hill, located next to Suao Port, can be climbed up to a bird's eye view of Suao Fishing Port. There are men's and women's toilets in the park, which are kept very clean. Be careful when walking on the wet road in the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 通常都路過不知道蘇花公路裡有這樣一個砲台，從台北來是在臺9線105公里處右轉進去，砲台的由來可谷哥查，網路上說視野不錯 ，覺得還好，榕樹很大顆倒是真，地面長滿樹根，盤根錯節很特別，有廁所，二樓上去可觀景，但二樓看到的景和樓下ㄧ樣，不用特別爬上去。
I usually pass by and don’t know there is such a fort on the Suhua Highway. From Taipei, turn right at 105 kilometers from Taiwan Line 9. The origin of the fort can be found by Gu Ge. The Internet says the view is good, but I think it’s okay. The banyan tree is very big. It is true, the ground is full of tree roots, and the intertwined roots are very special. There is a toilet. You can go up to the second floor to see the scenery, but the scenery on the second floor is the same as the downstairs, so you don't need to climb up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 感謝Han uei lin網友指路，沒交通工具的仍可步行至此。
從長安東巷進去，會先看到幾棟平房，再走150~200階梯上去，階梯大概很少人走，上面都是青苔，上去之後往右看，再取左邊的路走，經過廟之後沒多久就能抵達。
從蘇澳車站步行到砲台山，來回加短暫休息拍照大概1小時。

Entering from Chang'an East Alley, you will see a few bungalows first, and then go up 150~200 stairs. There are probably few people walking on the stairs, and the stairs are covered with moss. After going up, look to the right, and then take the road on the left, after passing the temple It won't take long to arrive.
Walk from Suao Station to Fortress Hill, and take a short break to take pictures back and forth for about 1 hour.
