We ordered: nasi lemak (lemak rice), nasi rendang (beef curry rice), kaya toast and teh talik (talik tea). Food is great. Service is good, Ambient is ok and clean. Only is a bit pricey indeed. Hadn't had chance to take pict. ? Our 2nd visit ordered menu in pict. Crab fried rice and Char-kwe-tiao are good, portion is medium, and by default is bit spicy. Overal is good experience there. ?

Hearty, basic, not a lot of variety on the menu after a revamp of its offerings. Satay, rendang and some mild curries covers most of what's available. They excel at the breads (roti etc), are ok at the curries and have enthusiastic service.

I’m not sure why some rated this place with only a star as it’s not awful. I also wouldn’t give it a 5-star either as it’s like the “real thing”. Gotta be honest and say this is a place you go cos you crave those dishes from Singapore and choices are limited in Taiwan. Good enough to get over my cravings. For example the char kway teow doesn’t quite look or taste like my favorite hawker stalls in SG but they’re fine and it’s up to your personal taste. The dishes are certainly good enough to warrant repeat visits.

The 'Moss Burger of Malaysia' tastes identical to the Malaysian branches at 3X the price. Still delicious, chicken curry still served lukewarm, desserts delicious and Hainan chicken excellent. Lovely meal, would recommend for those unfamiliar with or homesick for Malaysian cuisine.

Teh Tarik was diluted and lukewarm only. Satay was fried, not grilled, tasted worse than Hawker's in Malaysia. Rendang was more salt than spice. Curry chicken was okay, but very kiamsiap with the Sambal, only a teaspoon amount. Store also ran out of Roti, so no Kaya toast. Environment was decent tho, just disappointed with the food.

Not exactly the same tastes what I have tried in Malaysia, but all the dishes are ok, the satay combo is delicious, but the satay sauce was not enough for 6 sticks, the kaya and butter toast couldn’t taste the kaya, I was a little bit disappointed the seafood laksa, curry chicken, the taste is ok, but similar to the one I was ordered before at food court, the best one is Penang Char Kway Teow, exactly the same which I have in Penang before. Better make an appointment if you want to eat at this restaurant, they provide online reservations, also you can use line pay, credit card, Apple Pay to pay your bill.

Christmas of 民國110(2021) Actually we order two main dishes but the first one I didn't take photos because it's really not good at all??? and that dish came so fast because it was heat by microwave...... I can taste the difference.... The second main dish my dad feels great although the soup can not be drink that much he still taste good, but the chicken didn't taste that well. I guess the chicken didn't cook with Curry. The drinks is also fine for my mine ? it's call: 3 colors milk tea(3色奶茶) and I choose hot with half sugar since I'm not that sugar fan?. Besides sugar will make people get cancer. Back to the point. The second drinks of my dad's will be 拉茶(Tail tea) he said Tates is not good at all?? So I guess the restaurant have to improve your food and tea seriously. Final: Mostly are good although everyone are order those food I was gonna order it. But my dad want to try a food call:海南雞飯+蜜汁悶肌肉 and we did but taste not good but I still ate it. But the 沙嗲拼盤taste really good!???, Although the beef it's ok ind of sweet. Hope restaurant can change the receipe for it since chicken taste so good by itself ,but with the curry sauce it's even better!!???

I lived in a Singapore for 5 years and after being in Taipei for one month was craving a prata. Simple uncomplicated dish you get at every corner in SG. I also lived in Australia for 5 years so knew how good Pappa Rich was there. Super excited when we learned they had it in Taipei. But after eating there this afternoon I'd say it's not the same. 3/5 at best. The Roti was so so dry and why put so much sugar in it? The Teh also tasted like it came out of a packet. Not going to go back here will try some other Malaysian places because this isn't worth the money.
