Going up the parking lot, there is a viewpoint not to be missed, you can see Frog Rock/Maotou/Dajian Mountain (Boar Rock)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you are visiting the Kenting National Forest RECREATIONAL AREA, with paved trails, banyan trees, caves and lookout towers, THIS is the parking lot you'll use. I suggest parking near the viewing platform which overlooks the ocean, because it is near the ticket booth where you'll need to buy your park admission ticket for this section of Kenting National Forest. (The Ticket booth is the small white building with a Taiwanese flag.) I give this parking lot five stars solely based on it's functionality--not based on aesthetics. It is a large parking lot, it does the job well, and it's the only public parking lot with access for the KNT Recreational Area.
