★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Cha shao bao' here is awesome. Seats are scarce on weekends, so try to reserve in advance.
Food: Average for the price, except for the amazing cha shao bao.
Service: Impersonal but efficient.
Ambience: Good.
Value: On par with most hotel restaurants of this stature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very fancy. It's a place to take government officials but I actually have eaten better. The food is good and solid. But it's not extraordinary by any means. I got invited for the set menu, which was a good amount. Their tea is good staff is friendly and very secretive. It is a good place for having conversations but certainly overpriced.

-Located in the Grand Hyatt (by Taipei 101), this restaurant offers some very exquisite morsels that just make you salivate :)
-The highlight was the roast goose, served traditionally where the chef brings it out to you so you can watch him gently carve away the crispy skin. This particular place will wrap the slices for you and place on your table for consumption.
-The service was impeccable and prompt as it seems that it's a high-end restaurant.
Overall, it was a great lunch and you can't beat free since it was a treat by a business associate and friend :)

This is a typical restaurant in a high end hotel chain. Nothing to write home about for the $$$ you are paying. Most western tourists will be happy since it will be cheaper and tastier than their counter parts at home. But compared to local high end cuisines... a local foodie will be unimpressed.
Great for business meetings, not so great for family gatherings.
