★ ★ ★ ★ ★ steak places here come with a slab of meat on a griddle plate smothered in some sauce on a bed of noodles and an egg frying on the side. Nothing like a steakhouse stateside. but for here it's edible..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cheap college students oriented restaurant with identity crisis. It is meant to be a cheap steak house yet beef noodles and such Chinese style cuisine are also on the table as well. Not so memorable even for those with a small budget. Skip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Xiaolongbao were not soupy at all. Taste was okay. Do not order the cold oolong tea, it is not good. I didn’t think you could mess up tea but it was powdered or something? 50nt wasted. I won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend anyone else go there. Too many other good places to eat. Disclaimer: we only had the XLB and the butter filled rolls (also odd). Didn’t try the steak, which is why I assume most people go there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice steak house in the heart of Shilin Night Market. The Xiao Long Bao are the only dumplings on offer, but quick to make and tasty! The beef noodle soup could've done with more noodles and spring onion, but very tasty. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend.

We liked the place.
After being in Shilin night market few times , we decided to try there hot plates.
We had a filet mingion and a marble stake.
There are served in a hot iron plate that is placed over a wooden board. The sides are noodles, vegetables and an egg that is raw when they serve it to you but it ll fry on the hot plate in few minutes.
The soft drinks are free flow.
Highly recommended
