★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fireworks are amazing!! Penghu international fireworks festival happens around late april-june twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays. The fireworks are sooooo pretty and close up in the sky. Show actually starts at 9 but come a bit earlier to check out a small night market nearby with food stalls. Their opening starts at 8pm. Find a good spot to get a nice view, the bridge side is usually packed. Definitely recommend picking days where the fireworks are happening to visit!
