屏東都城隍廟 - Duch.org.tw
本廟起源於民國三十四年光復之後，由於新竹和苗栗的地方人士在屏東經商定居，於每年的媽祖聖誕前組團回新竹迎請都城隍、竹南迎請媽祖、苗栗迎請玄天上帝與中壇元帥回屏東，於慈鳳宮前設置臨時壇，以方便來自竹苗地區的移民信眾膜拜。後因迎請城隍至屏東有諸多不便，但仍不減信眾堅持膜拜城隍爺的虔誠之心，如此誠意感動玉帝降旨，讓屏東信眾能免舟車勞頓，在境內膜拜城隍爺，故信眾們發起雕塑一尊城隍爺來供奉，從此就展開了屏東都城隍廟的歷史。
