Apart from the reception woman was quite rude, other experience was great. Door man was polite even the receptionist on each floor was nice, just the woman on the group floor was rude. All floors are displayed in details and you need at least half a day if you want to see ALL things. Especially all other stamps from all over the world. The stamps are so pretty and unique. Also, you can learn about the postal history of Taiwan. And super cheap for the entrance fee, just NT10.

It's a great place to go hiking, the best party if that is so convenient that you can go from the city to the mountains in the matter of minutes, the place is pretty and an excellent choice to spend an afternoon.

The postal museum is located around freedom of square, and I park my scooter beside the museum, and the ticket is 30dollars, if you are a student or kid, the ticket is 10dollars, that's so cheap, the visiting route is from 2nd to 6th floor, you can choose either elevator or stair, they are different themes each floor, but they do have attractive and interesting interactively game or introduction, after visiting this museum, I learnt the history, founding person, and the last not the least, we comprehensively acknowledged the production through the videos and modules, from sorting, dispatching to transporting, they not only pass the letter or parcel, but pass the miss and love.

I thought that an hour would be enough to see the entire museum but I ended up staying for almost three hours. I was pleasantly surprised to see a comprehensive collection of postal artifacts not just from Taiwan but from many countries, including those that no longer exist (e.g., South Yemen). The interactive stamp designer, which lets you create a commemorative stamp with your picture in it, was a neat idea. There is a small admission fee of 5 NT dollars. Most exhibits are described in both Chinese and English. All of the museum employees I interacted with have limited English.

Informative museum chronicling the history and development of Taiwan's postal service, recently updated with refreshed exhibits annotated in both Traditional Chinese and English. Visitors should ideally begin on the third floor, which describes the origin of postal service in ancient China as a means for reliable government and military communications, through the establishment of private letter companies. Exhibits include a reproduction of a late-19th Century Qing dynasty mail box, the role of Qing official Liu Mingchuan in attempting to modernize the then-provincial Taiwan's postal system, and later developments after Republican China through to the Nationalist exodus to Taiwan, including various postal transportation and processing machinery. The fourth floor describes the basics of the modern postal system, and is generally geared towards young children, although there is also a preserved example of one of Taiwan's first modern automated mail sorting machines located in one of the back rooms. The fifth floor contains the museum's extensive collection of stamps from around the world, as well as exhibitions on international stamp collecting events and competitions. The sixth floor is reserved for special events, again usually geared towards young children. As of the time of writing, the second floor contains exhibits looking back on the 50th anniversary of the Postal Museum as an institution, from its establishment in Xindian in 1966 through to its move to its current location in 1984. On display are some of the rarer stamps from the museum's collections, as well as one of the few surviving letters written by Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of modern Republican China. Admission is NTD$10 (~USD$0.30) for international visitors, and the entire museum can be toured in under two hours. Highly recommended for postal and stamp enthusiasts, and a low-stress option for other, general visitors.

Interesting place to learn the history of post. And they have post collections all over the world. Ticket price is cheap ($10 for an adult). 2F to 6F are the areas of postal museum. Each floor has different exhibition theme.

We came here to sent our postcards and didn’t expect they have extensive postal theme museum. Which is an amazing experience and interesting knowledge gains. There’s entrance fee of TW$10 but you get a free postcard. There are several floors with different exhibitions and one floor dedicated for children to play. I personally love the worlds’ rare stamps section. There are also albums full of stamps sets for customers to buy and avid stamp collectors definitely need to spare some budgets in here.

Spent about 2 hours total here and had a lovely time. I especially loved the world stamps section, and the kids' floor is adorable. For 30 NT/person (and with a cute CNY post card included with admission), definitely worth a visit!
