★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice selection but apparently very poor time-telling ability. At 4:45, the staff at the liquor/whiskey counter refuses to sell anything and says they are resting until they close at 5. I was hoping to buy six bottles as gifts, but now I have to take my business elsewhere. It’s a good thing we have Costco in Taiwan, they sell liquor, and they are able to tell time.

Level 2 exhibit is free and level 1/ ground floor is the market place for their local wine and whiskey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bet many of us do not know that Taiwan makes some of the worlds best alcohol. Cooking alcohol like Shaoxing. Chinese varieties the likes of Nu Er Hong or Gao Liang. Sake and even Whiskies.
They have made this distillery into sort of a hugely popular tourist spot.
They have an interesting museum on the second floor that educate people on the history of alcohol making on the island.
On the ground floor. There are stalls selling food, sweets, local delicacies and snacks that goes well with whatever alcohol you choose to buy off the shelf. It almost has a fun fair atmosphere to it.
Most importantly. Alcohol sold here, is cheaper than in the DFS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An interesting place for the liquor enthusiasts.
Showcasing the making and keeping of "shiao shing" wine. It's a cooking wine that is used extensively in Chinese cooking. Other than this wine....other traditional Chinese wine are being showcase such "daughter red wine" and "scholars wine". Given by parents to their marrying daughter as a blessing for their future happiness.
There is a souvenir shop selling gifts and also another wine shop selling these wines as a normal bottle or even in small souvenir size. You can even sample on wine available.
