★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food! Medium busy joint on the edge of Ximen Ding. I only regret not coming here when I lived 2 blocks away. This is must try for an affordable taste of Szechuan cooking in an inconspicuous little shop. I tried Kung Pao chicken, sliced pork and onion omelet.

There is something comforting from the moment you find it tucked away in an alley off the bustling streets of the Ximending neighborhood. It has been around for many years and has garnered loyal customers like myself as well as new ones who crave Sichuan style home cooking. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and welcoming. I love ordering the little dishes displayed in the front to start off my meal. Every dish that I've eaten has been consistently delicious with the perfect amount of spice. If you're like me, you'll leave with a happy stomach and ready to continue shopping in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very few restaurants in Taiwan bother to differentiate between Buddhist vegetarians (who don't eat garlic and onion) and western vegetarians (who are ok with garlic and onions). This restaurant can do most menu items without meat so it's a great option if you have a vegetarian in the party or are vegetarian yourself :) The whole place is very clean and efficient though not fancy. Food is fantastic and portions are fairly generous. I love eating here.
