Best Heritage building in Taiwan

N	Nicholas Karavatos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restored Japanese colonial houses housing this important cultural endeavor, I was not able to share in any events here but 5 stars for setting and the importance of the project. I think the events are exclusively in Chinese and specifically Taiwanese in nature. Please visit, if at least for the architecture but better yet for the Poetry. There's an adjacent cafe - Pathways of Poetry - where you can get a cup of coffee or tea. For no reason the server gave me a discount on my cup. So neighborly!

A	Anna Baatz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful Japanese Era place to stroll around, and great for photos as well. Today there was a literature market with various trinkets, drinks and baked goods available too ~ a very nice way to spend an hour or two :)
J	James Chen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an area of Japanese style officers’ residential housing for Japanese administrator in 1900 period and later for KMT military general and officers after 1945. Now, this house, one of this group, has been fixed with the materials collected from the same period house and re-opening for the purpose of literature development. It’s close to Hua-San culture creativity park, you can visit that district in one visit. This house demonstrates the Japanese style construction and living setup which you can even see in Japan. A lot of Taiwan poems and poetry history have been exhibited at one of rooms.
T	Tina Hsu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place for visiting. There are some exhibitions about books inside. Moreover, there is a small library for children. It’s a Japanese style building. BTW, entrance fee is for free! It’s good to stay here for about 1 hour.
