Interior design is great, food itself is not bad, I find it a bit over salty and greasy, it's better to have a group dinner here so you can try different dishes.

Pros: omelette fried rice, shish kebab, thin noodles, fast service, and northwestern flavour Cons: the vegetables are way over-priced, the broad noodles are bland, and the “almond drink” is gimmicky All in all, the experience was positive, but we will avoid the vegetable dishes next time.

I love the meals soooo much. All dishes are amazing; they smells good and taste delicious. I first pretty unhappy to the waitress attitude who could not answer my questions clearly and that is the deduction of the 1 star. Hopefully, once I get back home with my food, I have such a wonderful time enjoying the meals.

I really like the dessert. It’s pretty yummy.Maybe you can try the milk tea.It has heavy taste. Strong recommendation share the milk tea at least with 4 people or drink too much to feel greasy. The hot pot was good.

Very loyal to the original Shanxi tastes. This is probably the best Shanxi restaurant in Taipei. Lamb slabs are delicious. Sour and spicy potato is very close to what I had in Xian. Also the dessert comes with a perfect ending. Truly good ?.

I was really excited to eat Authentic Xi’an food here. However the food was not really authentic and very underwhelming. It’s more like Taiwanese fusion style Xi’an where flavors and spices are toned down and muted. I also feel they used more oil than typical Xian cuisines use. My experiences with Xian food is from Xian, Beijing, Shenzhen, and New York City. So I would definitely say it’s not really authentic. I was hoping this place was going to be great because Xian food is really hard to find in Taiwan for some reason. I guess the spice and flavors are too strong for average Taiwanese. I was excited for broad/ wide noodles but I was quickly discovered that noodles were not that fresh. They were also not knife cut noodles. Just regular noodles preserved in a refrigerator. Very disappointing. The lamb soup was good. Lamb meat on a stick didn’t taste fresh and was a bit too chewy. The second disappointment was the service. We had early early lunch and me and my friend were the only ones in the restaurant. I asked NOT to be seated next the bathroom or stair walk way. I asked several times and they said they can seat us at 3 or 4 person table other than one next to bathroom. People came in and they were single and couple set and they sat them immediately at the tables I requested. (These we’re not reservations. They were walk ins). So basically lied to me and forced to sit next to bathroom. I found this to be very rude and completely unnecessary for the staff to do. Maybe it was just bad day for staff and restaurant. I really wanted to be happy eating Xian food once again. Hopefully I’ll try another place or maybe try this place if they can improve their technique.
