★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to enjoy Taipei street food. Market sells varieties of food and clothing. The market is clean and not so big. We were here around noon and had noodle soups plus mixed fruit desserts, both are good and at very reasonable prices. If you are in Taipei for a 24 hour lay over, consider this market as a preferred places to visit along with the skyscraper building Taipei 101 as the two places are within 15-20 minutes Uber ride.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perhaps a night market popular with locals and not tourist. The selection of food are more home-fared than the usual tourist-ridden markets. I love the array of offerings, and some of the foodstalls actually serve food that tasted better than any of the other night market around.
Might be difficult for someone who doesn’t speak a smatter of Mandarin because there are no English menus to be found. But if you really want it, there’s always a way- by pointing out to what others’s are eating. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vermicelli starched soup with intestines and oysters was good. Plenty of other foods to try here as well but I recommend not to visit too early. Visit after 4pm to make sure all the stalls are open.
