★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place for the price and location. It is right next to an MRT station and close to lots of food and shopping. The rooms are large, clean, and have everything needed. The value of this place is just really good especially when you compare it to the Park Lee's next door which is a 4 star hotel, but actually felt worse than R14.
The staff is also very friendly and helpful at R14. They are very accommodating too unlike at Park Lee's. They allowed me an early check-in where as Park Lee's wanted to charge me for that.
The only thing that is not great here is the breakfast. I wish it had more Western stuff. The breakfast is very Asian focused. It is vegetarian only, but I don't consider that a downside of you know ahead of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best hotel I have stayed in Kaohsiung. The room is clean and large. Looks and feels brand new. The breakfast is vegetarian but very good quality. Though it is not centrally located, it is close to subway station and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location just 1min walk from subway. Area around is worth to explore. Near to the largest shopping mall in the city.
Staffs are nice nd helpful. Our flight was 7am in the morning so we cannot enjoy breakfast in hotel. But staffs had repaired us sandwiches! How sweet!
Facilities are new! Room is clean and spacious!! It has a mobile phone for us to google things, explore the city and make phone call! What a surprise!
I will define stay in this hotel again for my next visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked this hotel because it was close to the venue that the concert will held. As its price is not expensive, I do not have any expectation before I arrive.
It was perfectly located near Exit 2 of the KRT station, right across the park. I was welcomed by the staff and he showed me the sightseeing spots and convenient store nearby on the map provided by the hotel. The decoration of the hotel is trendy and looks like just renovated. The room was huge and clean; with tea bags and filtered coffee provided.
The breakfast was vegetarian and the selection was okay. Good enough to get you charged in the morning.

Breakfast is vegetarian but quite good for a carnivore like me
Only one small thing is that the luggage storage is in open place and a little bit not nervous
Anyway, price worthy for it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room is very clean, hotel is new. Other than vegetarian breakfast, nothing really memorable. Lots of lost opportunities, nice roof area but with such awkward furniture layout. Not even a table that you can sit and do work. The gym is super small with only cardio machines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rare hotel with vegetarian breakfast! Both my sister and I are vegetarians, and we enjoy the food. The room is very clean, the bathroom of excellent design. Front desk staffs are all very helpful and well-trained. A certain hotel to recommend and come again.
