Reach to Teach really took the extra steps to make sure I was not only compliant with the EPIK program but comfortable with the overall process. When I first started applying they were able to give me a detailed overview of what I could expect to encounter at every step of the application, break it down into the most important parts and also help me plan ahead. Because of this I was able to request documents, get notarization and apostilles sorted out despite delays from COVID. Any time I had a question I knew I could email my recruiter and I would get either an email or a call as soon as he had the information I was looking for. Beyond helping me successfully apply to teach in South Korea through EPIK they continued to offer support through my flight, during quarantine and even now as I'm settling into my placement. I definitely recommend going through RTT should you be looking at opportunities to TEFL abroad!

After deciding to teach abroad in Korea with the EPIK program I chose Reach to Teach as my recruiter based on positive reviews and was not disappointed! Despite applying a bit late, John helped me get my application and documents ready quickly and gave great advice when reviewing the initial application and everything I needed to prepare regarding documents and interview. During parts of the process responses could be a little slow, but I know that the time difference can make it difficult to communicate, as well as the reality that there were a lot of changes due to covid-19. Working with Reach to Teach was nothing but a positive experience. I was so impressed with the service and also care provided to me by Carrie. After giving my resume and discussing what type of positions I would be interested in, Carrie set out to get me a suitable position and she did not fail. Within a week, I had an introduction to a private elementary school and Carrie acted as liaison between both parties. Carrie was upfront at all times with regards to the position, the contract and setting up the in person interview. The school she found for me was amazing and matched my wants and needs perfectly. With success at the interview, Carrie offered am amazing contract. What Ioved about my experience was the professionalism, actually taking my needs in board, not just offering available jobs but those she knew I'd be truly interested in, being there for both me and the school and not being pushy about signing the contract offered.
