★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little bookstore tucked away along one of Hualien's many winding lanes and alleyways. It was rumored these kinds of bookstores went extinct last decade but here one still stands. Go and experience it yourself before they're all gone! They offer coffee and a little backroom for reading and studying. The English books seem to have been curated by a Lit major, which is a good thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the aesthetic of this place was lovely, and the employee there was very nice. My only complaint was that online it said it was a Chinese and English bookstore, so I was expecting more English books. But I still found a book to love and there are lots of spots to sit and read!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy book shop, there are also foreign language books, the prices are pretty cheap, and the best thing in the shop is the reading room. There are tables, lamps, Wifi, and the atmosphere is very calm and laid back.

And start to love the quite and slow time here. Unfortunately I cannot get used to the verticle orientation of books, it's the place for you to spend whole afternoon reading.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beatiful small bookshop with everything you can wish for a perfect cozy atmosphere - smell of old books, wooden shelves full of treasures, stylish place for reading, good coffee and two curious cats. They even have some books in English. I just wish this place would be in my town so I could come every week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used bookstore with both Chinese and English section, rooms are divided into lovely sections in old school decor. They also have small trinkets and Knick knacks by local artists to shop for.
Take note that this is a cafe bookstore and spending your time within the compound requires a minimum spenditure of 120NTD

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant store with a small English self. Most books at the time seemed to focus on philosophy, psychology, literary criticism and popular novels. Great ambience and the small room out back is an ideal place to read and study.
