★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REC Coffee makes my day! The hazelnut coffee is perfect! I wish they have Cinnamon Roll to go with my coffee.
The peach apple tea is very light, just like Japanese style. The orange juice is my daughter's favorite one.Fresh salad, nice coffee, and elegant presentation, what a wonderful experience at REC Coffee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REC Coffee makes my day! The best walnut cinnamon roll in Taichung City which you should never miss! They taste like the perfect blend of apple pie spice and cinnamon rolls. It is very light but with a very rich flavor, and it is good to go with coffee or tea. Fresh salad, nice coffee, and elegant presentation, what a wonderful experience at REC Coffee!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imported Japanese Fukuoka coffee brand. High end deco with simple zen style. Nice 26F view with a huge balcony. Spacious seating with average cafe food and breakfast. Staffs seemed a little under trained. Limited payment method at the counter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great view of the city from the cafe on the 26F. It's nice and peaceful inside the cafe. Although only half the tables at the cafe was occupied, they will say they are full. Pretty and tasty desserts!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful views, delicious cakes, a wide variety of coffee options, and spacious, comfy seating. I'm giving four stars instead of five simply because it is *so* pricey. I'll come again anyway, though!
When you enter the building, go to the reception desk on the back wall - NOT the first reception desk you see. Give your phone number and name to be added to the wait list - you will be asked to do this even if there is nobody else on the wait list. The receptionist will then let you through the security gate and you'll take one of the three elevators in the back to the 26th floor. It's a little complicated, but everyone (apart from the people at the first reception desk) is quite friendly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ REC Coffee is one of the champion coffee roasters in Japan that’s originally from Fukuoka. This location was their first branch oversea, so it’s one of the hottest spots recently in Taichung.
We visited on a weekday afternoon at about 3pm and we still needed to wait for about 15 minutes to be seated, so we believe the wait would to bad on weekends.
The decor is elegant & bright with cozy & relaxing ambiance, and it’s perfect to stay for a while. The options on the menu were various from coffee, smoothies, tea, snacks to desserts…etc.
We got a Mont Blanc, Lemon Tart, their signature Hakata Blend, Honey & Lychee Latte and Brown Sugar Latte to share with a group of three. It’s at a little high price point but everything is delicate.
Our favorites were the lemon tart, which was refreshing and the creamy brown sugar latte. We might visit again for their coffee bean next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A upscale coffee shop at the 26th floor of a business office building. It is getting very popular amount young people. They have a good size balcony which give you a view of the city’s most expensive area. I had hazelnut latte which wasn’t bad. Little too sweet for my taste. The services was excellent. This will be a good place to enjoying coffee or tea with friends or family.
