★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not indian enough. The dishes have been adjusted to match the local palette and are therefore less flavourful, less spicy. Also , they do not understand the concept of eating curry with your roti. Charged me seperately for it. The roti, by the way, is a parantha but they insist on calling it a roti. For 80 dollars though, you get two fairly large pieces of chicken and 2 really thick plain paranthas. Decent enough. Oh, and they have a set menu. The menu mentioning other delicacies is never available. 2 stars as the only decent thing about this place was the prices. Still, a seperate charge for curry?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best cost-value Indian cuisine I can find in Hsinchu. It’s genuine taste and so affordable pricing makes me reluctant to prepare those rare and costly spices for decent Indian food. I still noticed the Tandoori chicken wasn’t covered with enough yogurt paste and was immersed in oil, which isn’t correct. Roti looked quite palm and nan photo on the menu does too. However, the chicken curry, Chana masala, egg plant curry, and veg biriani that I tasted were great. I’ll definitely come here often.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cheap casual diner. The food is definitely Indian style but very light and somehow adjusted to Taiwanese taste. Still great value for money 100 NTD will get you stuffed.The bread was great and definitely freshly baked with good ingredients. It's not a service restaurant but more like a cafeteria with all the food options in front of you and a lady serving it on a metal tray -very nice touch. Recommend for a quick bite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cheapest store that sells Indian cuisine. Quality wise it's not top-notch but at least it's worth the price you pay. The owner is Taiwanese but sells Indian food at the right price, which is not the case with many other Indian restaurants. Indian cuisine is not expensive. It is just that not many Taiwanese are aware of it. Hence the Indians take it as an advantage and sell at ridiculously high prices!
