★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is good. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathtub is wonderful. But the breakfast is not worthy the price. I love Dim Sum but there is no Dim Sum in the breakfast Buffet. (There are always some Dim Sum in other 5-star hotels' breakfast Buffet in Taiwan) There was also no desserts. The coffee from the coffee machine is bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staffs are wonderful and very nice! We really enjoy the view especially the hotel is in the center of the city.
Excellent stay this time even though some of the facilities were lockdown. The lounge service could be better since it is closed this time (ex: provide some afternoon/happy hour food and drinks). love to be here again ~ Strongly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at room facing garden. The room was spacious and quiet, we could hear bird chirp. Dined at Chinese restaurant and then breakfast, lunch at Shilin kitchen. During pandemic buffet was suspended and replaced by set menu. Food quality was good. Highly recommended for staycation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively new hotel, rooms are a bit small but has everything that is expected. Depending on what a visitor wants to visit the location is not bad. Rooms are very clean, which is a must for me. Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Finally the mountain view this time. Even though it's not one king that we booked, still happy that we got upgraded to mountain view. Fingers crossed for 1 king mountain next time. Lounge has been closed I guess for 2yrs now, replaced by happy hour at R Bar and breakfast at the Shilin Kitchen which IMO are both great. However, missing a place to refill coffee and tea in rest of the hours is a bummer. Rooftop swimming pool is closed for seasonal maintenance, otherwise it could be icing on the top. Room itself is awesome, with enough space and quality material used. Highlight is the bathroom and the tub, amazing as before. The only minor complaint about the room would be that it's a bit dusty in the places you won't easily see, like the upper shelves for example. Staffs are very friendly and attentive as always.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn’t know what to expect. The property is hidden away from the Main Street so there’s minimum street noise. Also has a serene view of the rose garden/park in front. Service is excellent and the lunch semi-buffet is surprisingly good. If I had to pick on something it would be the early cut-off for breakfast (latest seating at 9am). Hard to make it when traveling with infant. Also the executive lounge is by appointment and not the usual come as you please. Regardless we enjoyed our stay and would consider for another mini-getaway.
