★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy relaxing cafe, my cousin has been visiting over 5 times, she highly recommended this place. Staffs are friendly but it take a bit for the dishes to be served. The dishes portion is okay, presentation is nice, taste average tho; be aware that it’s Taiwanese style leguine, don’t order it if you’re looking for traditional flavor. Overall, all the dishes (risotto, leguine and waffle) are too sweet for me, maybe it’s typical Tainan flavor haha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given this place a five star for the food and the atmosphere but I felt that the waitress who served my friend and me did not pay much attention to us. First, she asked if we would like our drinks during our meal, but we didn’t get them until we finished our lunch. Second, she forgot to give us our dessert fork, and we just sat there and looked at our cheesecake for about a good 5-10 minutes. Last, when we were about to get our last bite of the cake, she came quickly and took our utensils and plate away. She didn’t even ask us if we were done eating. I don’t know if that is the normal service and we even had to pay 10% service fee???!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Breakfast/brunch is my biggest meal of the day and I always try to find new places that give me what I need. An ideal meal of course is one consisting of lots of vegetables and a good source of protein. Usually that means a traditional Taiwanese breakfast which is what I eat most of the time. But I also love a good salad or Eggs Benedict and that doesn't give me many places to choose from in Taichung. The seafood salad here is not bad. Two pieces each of cold shrimp, clams, mussels, and squid on a bed of greens with a slightly too sour Thai-style dressing at $264 is acceptable but I I wish they'd put a bit more emphasis and attention on this salad as it seems a bit of an afterthought. The service is excellent.
