★ ★ ★ ★ ★ URS329 is the perfect 'diamond in the rough' with beautiful wooden tables and exposed brick walls - a modern Oasis in the old town area. Food is equally notable with 6 set meals ranging from a perfectly steamed milk fish to a taro with duck. The chicken is a popular option and the sole vegetarian option, a wheat gluten with hericium mushrooms is good enough for a carnivore to crave. Each set meal comes with five sides, which vary, but have included sweet stewed small tomatoes, steamed morning glory, a sweet green pepper salad, a bowl of white rice and a brothy soup. Every component of the meal comes together to make this a repeat visit destination.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a taste that ever to be a 60s people of Taiwan. The meal is good and the decoration inside can even tell you the history of memory. The street outside is the most eldest street in Taipei. Food is fairly expensive but I think worth of it. Change the amount of stars, the menu changed after new deco. I am a traditional guy and like old stuff more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food in serene atmosphere. We stumbled upon this by accident but the menu looked delicious and the place has a lovely, calm setting. Flavours are delicate and $350 for a set lunch menu is very reasonable given the quality of the food. Recommended.

1. Price: 380nt for a meal is not too pricey especially because the tray included 3 side dishes, soup, rice, and the meat I ordered.
2. Food: The food was flavorful and filling. An additional bowl of rice costs 30nt. There are meat options as well as vegetarian options. The side dishes as well as the soup stays the same for every order, only the main side dish is the one I was able to choose (ex: meatball, beef, fish, shrimp, taro, etc)
Make sure you add the pigs oil into your rice; it helps add a lot of flavor!!
3. Environment: The environment is really nice, quiet, and calm. The buildings were all renovated as an old house style. The street across from this restaurant also has the same style, so it's definitely GREAT for pictures!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is converted from historic building with great restoration work done. I can see they preserved almost all of the original design. Dining experience is great and give you nostalgic feeling. The food is nicely prepared and taste good. While waiting for your food, you can roam around on level 2 or 3 to check out the restored interior of the building.
