Every time I'm visiting Tainan's Silks Place hotel, I dine at Robin's. Robin's is one of the more expensive teppanyaki chains, but if you plan on visiting, also plan on splurging. I recommend ordering one of the more expensive cuts of beef, it's worth it. That said, my favorite things about Robin's aren't the steaks. Their salad and appetizer bar is awesome. What they have at the bar changes, but I got lucky once with a pot of Texan chili, something I hadn't had since I moved to Taiwan. Their fried rice is also amazing, some of the best teppanyaki fried rice I've had in a long time. I would recommend coming here just for the fried rice (too bad you can't order it a la carte). In America, teppanyaki isn't something you get often, but you wouldn't want to either; most American teppanyaki isn't very good. Robin's is far better than anything back home. If you come from America and your only experience of the Japanese cooking technique is Benihana's, I urge you to come and experience this place (prepare your wallet though).

Overall very nice dining experience and perfect lunch for Chinese New Year family celebration! Top notch service , they all have sincere smells and do all kinds of table service in no time. Good European style salad and side dish bar, delicately made. Steak and lobster are good too! We love the spacious table and interior design as well.

Salad bar is fresh. Onion soup is tasty. We order not the most expensive meat but somehow i think it is not impressive in term of taste and texture. The French dessert cart is cute, others dessert is just good to look but taste so so. With such price level, I would expect better quality. Overall service is excellent!

Awesome teppanyaki dishes and the staff service. The food quality is very fresh and the chef skillset is outstanding. Definitely the best teppanyaki place in Tainan. Strongly recommended.

The best steak in Tainan. A lavish and various buffet. They also prepared red envelopes in Lunar New Year's Eve dinner. That’s so sweet.
