Royal Inn Taipei Nanxi

The hotel has fantastic location. It is right next to subway station and surrounded by shops and has a food court next door. The hotel itself is very clean and well operated. In the room you have everything you need, from a kettle to hair dryer. The only problem is that if the room is facing main road, there will be noise. Btw the hotel is on the 8-11 floor of a building.

Traffic: Very close to MRT station and convenient. But not that friendly for people who drive. When we arrived there was no parking space already. Room: Cozy and clean. Breakfast: not so many choices, taste is OK.

Beautiful clean rooms with a great location. Street level entrance is a bit unconventional so it can be a bit difficult to find. Just outside the front door is a fantastic array of foods and shopping. The subway station is about a 3 min walk away with convenient access to all of Taipei. Great value.

It has pretty good value. We stayed there for two nights. The room is not big, but it equips with essential stuff, in particular, it has TOTO washlet. The breakfast is above average, in particular for the second day we stayed there. Staff are friendly there.

It was very thought to provide the free laundry and dryer. However, the washing machine can not show how long it takes to finish laundrying. And the dryer also didn't work out. Eventually, it took us very long time to wait for the laundry but got nothing. Except for the laundry, it was a very wonderful experience to spend time in Royal Inn Taipei NANXI. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel was comfortable. The front staff can speak simple Japanese. Amenity is substantial and there is a refrigerator and a safe, too. The temperature of the hot water and the water pressure of the shower are enough. Breakfast buffet was delicious. I want to use it next time.

The receptionist is really warm and patient providing with smooth C/I experience. Will visit for the next trip.

Great service! It is clean and has all the basic things you need. It is also cheaper than most of the BnB in Taiwan. Front desk staff are friendly and the room is very quiet for after-work good night's sleep. I was worried about the security when I first arrived. However, the building will automatically open the elevator on 8th floor (Lobby) before you head to your room floor. The staff will greet you even though you are inside the elevator. Minor details are the floor is carpet which clutters some dust and stan on it, WiFi is slow (not able to open camera for video call), shampoo and body wash is very basic, so I brought my own while staying for 10 days. Another complaint is that they don't have a point system or membership for people visiting every month. One last thing, Linsen has bigger room space and the bathroom is bigger too. However, the location is not ideal and far from the metro station. I will still choose Nanxi even though it is a smaller room (standard Japanese business hotel).
