Lots of small resturants outside, but very local and Taiwanese style.
Streets are narrow.
When Center of Taroko Sports opens in 2018, this area will attract even more people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large low cost supermarket with food on the first floor and other items on the second. Cheap and cheerful, but looks a bit rough. Plenty of choice for items and very reasonable prices. It's worth going through their special offers as they really do have bargains sometimes. They quite a lot of international goods, but these tend to be in slightly random separate areas and not easy to find or next to similar sections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A decent shopping center on two floors. The main mart is sided by small shops and a couple of restaurants. There is a free WiFi (RT-Wifi-free, which does not need you to sign-in anything preliminary), an underground parking for cars and a parking for scooters. RT-mart proposes many fresh products and there is a reasonable amount of international food/products. It is not often crowded. So, overall, it's pretty good and enjoyable to shop/eat there.
