★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love stay at this place to read anything! Especially for B1 area. There is a lot of children book and also story book of taiwan for kids and this book that i find to learn read Mandarin characters. The staff's are so friendly. Also there is a lot of discount!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best bookstore in Taipei. Huge store that runs over four levels with mostly Traditional Chinese tiles. There are also Simplified Chinese books with an English section on the second level and English learning books on the upper floor. The selection of books is truly impressive and there is much more variety than other more famous bookstores in Taipei.
I will say that the organisation of the English fiction and novels section is a bit chaotic. I would truly enjoy being able to work here to give it a system that is more user friendly for both the customer and the staff to be able to find what you are looking for.
Apart from that this is an absolutely magnificent bookstore for anyone that values reading, wants unequalled variety and requires the certainty of knowing they will find the title they seek. San Min Books Fuxing North will remain my first stop when looking for my next paperback adventure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ San Min has been here forever, truly an old-school style bookstore with a large selection of stationery and multiple levels. Good foreign language selection, although beaten for the most part by Eslite and the online bookstores. If you can overlook the fact that the store probably needs a good remodeling, its not a bad at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit this book store several times.. and right away to the basement where the stickers, scrap books, and tape masks are. Cuteee. Like being here because of those stationery. It is a local book store, mostly books are in Mandarin so I cannot say about the books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3 minutes walk from Sherwood Hotel. Huge book store. I came in December for children book sale. No disappointment! Bought 90 books for just NT$9000! Enough for my daughter to enjoy for a year! Staff is super helpful. Everything packed nicely in cartons for safe luggage check in. Even volunteered to bring the two heavy boxes to my hotel! Fantastic service!
Tips: discount season is only around Xmas per store staff! Cone again this year for another fruitful shopping!
