★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三城為安坑內五張庄之一，是典型的山區小集村。早期主要家族 為詔安籍的廖姓(雙廖家族)客家人，佔約７成，幾乎等於是廖家同姓 血緣聚落，其餘雜性，大都是廖家佃農或贅婚親屬。
三城是內五張庄 的中心，跟頭城、二城不同的是，原來聚落主要建於公路東側下方。 安康路拓寬之後，區域重要性為雙城所奪。位於公路下方，仍可看到 廖家祖厝紅磚房。那裡也保留一叢老刺竹，是安坑地區【城】的活見證。
