★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very special train station which is accessible only by walking or by train. If you start your travel from the Taipei station, this is the station before the fork, after which the rail split into two directions: one toward Pingxi (平溪) and the other toward Yilan (宜蘭). For this reasonable, the frequency of trains is relatively good. If you get off the trains at this station you may walk to the SangDiaoLing Falls area (三貂嶺瀑布群) via trails.

It takes you to the Sandiaoling Three-Tiered Waterfall Trail 三貂嶺三層瀑布群步道, which is a must-go hiking in Taiwan. The station is only surrounded by vegetation which gives it a quiet, beautiful atmosphere.
