★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一早從埔里出發，北返台北，先走台21線到東勢，接上台8線，經過山隆東勢加油站，稍作停留又匆匆上路，接台3線，到汶水上台72線，然後接上西濱，北上。無論怎麼努力跑，這趟旅程還是得花5個小時。
Departing from Puli early in the morning, returning to Taipei from the north, first take the 21st line to Dongshi, then take the 8th line to the station, pass the Shanlong Dongshi gas station, stop and then hurry to the road, take the 3rd line to the 72nd line of Wenshui Terrace, and then pick up Go west, go north. No matter how hard you run, this journey will take 5 hours.

This is a "healing" gas station. The car wash service is really good value for money.
Opposite there are two very large old camphor trees and sweetgum trees. When the U.S. army came to bomb the Xinshe Army airport and the reservoir on the mountain at the end of the Pacific War, the villagers would hide under these two trees.
