過去非常興盛的苗栗燒窯產業，隨著業者一家家外移而逐漸萎縮，但三灣的李蓬興利用在地獅頭山的特有陶土，做出全新的「三灣燒」產品，更與三灣茶產業結盟，推出大碗公泡茶，希望為三灣產業帶來新的可能。窯內的熱氣撲面而來，一整車白皙的瓷杯，慢慢拉出，這整車的馬克杯，即將打著台灣製造字樣，遠渡重洋外銷去。苗栗曾經是台灣陶瓷產業重鎮，但隨著低價中國、東南亞製品的衝擊，苗栗的陶瓷工廠早已少見，而這間員工不到五位的小陶瓷廠，更是三灣地區碩果僅存的。
