Good taste. Nasi kuning is so tasty.

first tried eating here during Ramadan. for those of you who bring a car, you must be careful because there are not many places to park. (my friend's car was towed awas because parking crossed a bit of the line that it should be). the place consists of two floor, first floor and basement. we made a reservation because dinner hours on weekends are very crowded. we ordered fried chicken, rendang, oxtail soup, steamed fish with lemon sauce, stir-fried water spinach and chicken satay (peanut sauce). oh yes, we also ordered cendol ice (like dawet but forgot to took the pict). overall we are very satisfied to eat here even though the price is quite expensive. However, believe me, this is recommended. The taste very similar to Indonesian original dishes. my favorite is the fried chicken because it tastes crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The rendang is okay, tender, savory and spicy (although it lacks the aroma of Padang, more like Javanese rendang). lemon soup fish is also very unique, fresh, you should try it. you better come here with friends so you can try a variety of menus. The staff were nice, and you need to wait awhile for the food (maybe about 20-30 minutes)

The best Indonesian food in Town, it's clean and tasty, definitely will make you feel like home. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. I recommend you to make a reservation first!

Very authentic Indonesian food in town. Its surprisingly tasty but price is a bit expensive. I think the sate just okay but you really must try their fried fish (NTD420) , Java Fried Chicken (NTD280), Rendang Beef (NTD240), Yellow Rice. The chili very tasty and spicy. Better to come in group so you can try more dishes :) And try to reserve in advance especially weekend time. Walking distance from Liu Zhang Li MRT.

Food just fair, can't say that its the original taste of Indonesian food, but still good enough here in Taipei. Unfortunately the price is just really high for that small portion. Sate ayam and es cendol really good and must order, but others just so so.

Curry and chili sauce is very spicy. Bit disappointed the fish isn’t butterflied like what I remember in Jakarta. Good for a larger crowd so you can sample more dishes. Very easy to polish off one whole plate of rice.

Ayam bumbu rujak: okay Ikan bakar: nice one Tahu/tempe goreng: okay, sambal is very spicy. The store is quite clean, and seems have quite many tables since there is basement dining area too. However they are severely understaffed. The time taken waiting for next food is quite long. This really turn me off. Portion to price wise is leaning to pricey level, but i feel it is worth to spend. To really enjoy the food here, better come with 3-4p. This is the place where you share food instead of individual order.

For me, Sate House is the best Indonesian restaurant in Taipei. Good Indonesian food is always served here. I've eaten here a few times with work colleagues and always get super good Indonesian food. I've ordered various kinds of food at this restaurant and I've always really enjoyed all of them. There is Kalasan fried chicken which is very famous for its tenderness, rendang which is the most delicious food in the world originating from Indonesia, chicken and meat curry which has a very Indonesian taste (Indonesian curry is different from curries from other countries), as well as various kinds of vegetables and drinks. I really like rendang and chicken kalasan. The taste is very authentic and very good. I always enjoy it because it feels like eating in my hometown in Indonesia. I also always come to this restaurant when I miss really good Indonesian food. If you have never tried Indonesian cuisine and want to try it, you must visit this restaurant. This restaurant serves Indonesian specialties that are very authentic as well as internationally acceptable. This is a great place to promote Indonesian food. What's more, the waiters and owners are very friendly to the guests. The location of the Sate House restaurant is quite easy to find. There are several tables inside that can be used when dining alone, for two, or in groups. If you want to eat with a large group, you should make a reservation in advance. I very often invite co-workers, even my boss, to eat here so they can get to know Indonesian food in a proper place. Whether it's dinner or lunch, I really enjoy eating here.
