Best American restaurant in Taiwan

S	Sujay Phadke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just avoid. The management is terrible. You have to use the QR code and order everything yourself on phone. The waiters don’t bother coming over to even ask if you’d like something. There’s no easy way to customize the order. No English menu at all. Completely useless in customer service. This isn’t an American restaurant. What if I don’t have a phone - Can’t I eat at your place ? Second floor management - what are you thinking?

Service is really great and workers are kind and do their best to speak English. They have English menus and the ordering online can easily be translating into English through google chrome.

I like to reunite with my friends at this place for it's really beautifully decorated inside the house and the food is exactly delicious. Thank you, Second Floor, for always bringing me a joyful experience. A recommendation for you guys if you're looking for some places to gather with friends. ;)

They seem to have renovated the whole building plus some changes to their menu (including the prices) The ambiance overall is pretty great & comfy. As for the service, they have done the best possible, yet somehow they appear to follow some kind of SOP. For instance, the risotto dish we ordered was overly salty & I'm quite sure that’s not how “spicy” tastes like. However, when we raised this concern, the server didn't really know how to respond and just said it's how the cook seasoned the dish. Honestly, I had to bring the risotto back home & made some huge modifications to make it more edible. Apart from the risotto, all the dishes did maintain their good standards. Overall, I would expect an amazing experience with those big dollars I spent, or simply I could be asking too much in this world of inflation...
