★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best small secret beach to swim on this island. We went during winter here in Taiwan (February) but it felt like summer with temperatures of 26-28 degrees Celsius.
Best thing about this beach is that the shore is coral based, so you'll never get sand stuck in all sorts of places when you want to dry yourself clean.
When we went the waves were kind, the weather was amazing and water temp was warm, you don't need a wetsuit to enjoy a swim here! Would recommend bringing your own snorkelling gear to do some snorkelling if you have the chance too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inspite of my 3 star review I would still recommend you to go even if for half an hour. Afterall the island is really small so you will pass this beach one way or the other. The rock formations are beautiful. The sandy part of the beach is very thin, probably a stretch of just 50 meters. Luckily it's not very crowded. Unfortunately the water is not that clear so not ideal for snorkeling unless swim a bit further in. There you will see a lot of beautiful fishes, but no turtles.

However that said it is a great place to chill for a couple of hours, take a dip and see loads of turtles. It is an easy beach to access with kids too and the waves are not too big either.
Can get busy later in the afternoon / evening.
