★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is delicious. Free refills of the "salad" and rice with meals. Desert puddings are good, too. I always get a meal which comes with the pork, cabbage/lettuce salad, rice, soup, dessert, and a drink. Service is usually decent. Cost a little higher than most "local" places, but worth it in my opinion.

The restaurant specializes in pork chop, prepared Japanese style. They selling more than just the food, but also the experience: giving you sesame seeds in a small bowl and you have to grind them down before adding their specially made sauce, so that you end up with the sauce for your pork chop.
I ordered their classic style pork chop set (赤神里肌豬排套餐), which includes the pork, rice, salad, and soup. The pork was tasty and tender, and the portion was sufficient.
Overall we enjoyed our meals. This is definitely a place worth visiting again.

2. The quality of the meat is not bad
3. BUT, the seasoning for the meals are pretty bad. a) all I was able to taste was soy sauce. b) despite being a Japanese restaurant, the flavour is quite heavy.
4. The price is quite expensive when you consider there are similar options for nearly $100 cheaper
5. Their service is pretty good tho.
I wouldn't recommend this restaurant , tho you could try their lunch, it's bit cheaper.
And it seems my experience is a bit isolated (based on other's reviews), so you might have better luck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic place for an affordable Tonkatsu lunch. Tender, thick pork cutlet and huge portions. Add just a little money and you get an entire bowl of curry sauce. Free flow of rice and salad. Located in a small lane across the road from NTU. Delicious food, nice presentation and good service. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Japanese pork chop place have so many different variety of pork chop! I tried the double cheese and black pork 200gm. Oh my it was amazing.
Prices are slightly to the higher price but free flow of salad! Free flow of rice! You can only get another extra bowl of soup.
The sauce are amazing and I couldn’t tell u how soft the meat are. Juicy and soft. It just melt in your mouth. Highly recommend!!
