★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit the authentic Taiwanese port at Shen'ao Fishing Port (深澳漁港)! You can wander around the boats and watch life in the harbor. Some fishermen are preparing their boats, while others are smoking cigarettes to relax. The largest fishing port in Ruifang district in New Taipei City, it is also known for its famous "elephant rock", which is an enormous rock in the shape of an elephant trunk touching the sea.
It is also a great spot to watch fishermen fish using a traditional Taiwanese fishing method - fire sulfur. This makes the sardines jump out of the water, and the fishermen catch them with scoop nets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very beautiful place for photography of eagles, falcon nest and terns.. and a very cute restaurant for curry chicken noodles and fried chicken with a view of fishing port. Please note it’s a very humid place in summer and crazy windy in winter, so carry water, with proper clothing in winter.
