Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel

As Covid-19 happens, the hotel tried hard to satisfy customer demand. Such as providing premium service at lounge and room upgrade to suite room. Bed is comfortable and food is good as well. Must come back soon!

The location is excellent. I has been honored like I am a valued Marriott member almost every stay. The service is good especially during pandemic. I am expecting the bath in the gym coming back soon.

Upon stepping into the hotel and approaching to the check-in desk, we were warmly greeted by the attentive agent who fully embodied the term "hospitality" with his thoughtfulness and proactiveness. The hotel further had its guests feel even more welcomed with some neat treats (a rabbit stuffed with a pair of mochi) that echoed with mid-autumn festival, a traditional Chinese festival during which family members gather together and have moon cakes while appreciating the beauty of the full moon. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and had a blast at the Natsu-Matsuri-themed summer festival. Kudos to the team—without your hard-work and dedication, the overall experience would be nothing near as amazing and unforgettable as it could turn out to be (a mimic summer festival held in a hotel corridor could be so lame, eh). You fellas did know how to brighten up your customers' day.

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times and it has been generally a satisfying experience. Service in the lounge has been very nice and it still is. However food choices are downgraded currently and menu arrangement is inconvenient. I have also been refused an upgrade to a suite despite it being available at the time of check-in.

Evaluation for the buffet only. Average food, good service. Not really worth the buck, compared with similar buffets.

Check in experience was most pleasant, I thank the staff at the elite member desk. Also truly enjoyed the executive lounge. Friendly staff, helped me with the printer. And during meal time the covid regulation was followed to a t. Makes me feel safe and welcomed during the pandemic era. I have wanted to stay at this Sheraton for a long time, and I’m glad it didn’t disappoint. Will definitely visit again.

No room service. And can’t use restaurants after 8:30pm so if you’re planning a long day outside recommend to have dinner elsewhere before returning to your room (There’s basically no available places except McDonald’s btw.) This is a fairly inconvenient trait for a 5 star hotel like this one. Can’t say this was an impressive experience in that sense.

Great location and good service. Taipei main station is walking distance. Room is old but facilities and condition is still ok. If you need to airport or other cities on next morning, this is perfect place to stay. Subway is also very close, just in front of hotel.
