★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Temple in a busy city. Go early hours around 4 if you want to avoid crowds. 20 to 30 mins is enough to see the place unless you want to do any worshiping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've never really thought about reviewing our local temple, but it's lovely. Over the years it's been a great place to relax, eat, and watch the night go by. Everyone is incredibly friendly and visitors with interesting stories take a break from the bustling night market here. Definitely visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cute little historic temple that is over 220 years old originally built in 1796. It's small compare to other ones but given its location which is on a main street of the Shilin Night Market it is lucky to have a little front court yard. Many elements inside the temple are well over 100 years old and are basically artwork and deserve a closer inspection.
The temple feels peaceful and serene. I have developed some sensitivity and can feel its peaceful energy. Highly recommended.
