Shin Yeh Japanese Buffet Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi A11 Restaurant

A very good Japanese buffet restaurant with delicious food at a very reasonable price. Just the fresh sashimi alone is already worth the price of the buffet and the time allotment of 2.5 hours is more than sufficient to consume all the food you like.

Being a Google guide for many months. My lowest review is 4 starts. However, run away this buffet if you can. All the bad reviews are real. I would give a ZERO star if there is an option. My attached pictures are all the foods selections available (exclude drinks and dessert). Even if invite me to eat here for free, I won't come back again. Double down, shame on you, Shin Yeh!! ????

Everything is tasty and fresh. Nothing too fancy but it’s satisfying enough. Very good service as well. I only hope they can add edamame…

Same like the one in Zhong Shan's branch but I feel like this branch has more selections Great place so you can shop around first before eating Located A4 5th floor From dessert selections: Creme Brulee and heavy chocolate cake and Tiramisu are the best Service is great but not very friendly. They give you what you need without the smiles, but understandable, i would be too if I have to do this everyday Need to reserve ahead of time due to long line and wait.

Good food, good service, nice Japanese style buffet

Not a place to go for a relaxing meal that's for sure. I went for lunch on a weekday but the lines were still long and the restaurant was mostly full. Food quality is definitely pretty decent for a buffet. No complaints for the sashimi and salmon sushi. I wanted to do lunch instead of afternoon tea for the salmon roe ikura hand rolls and that was yummy. All the other food were mostly in the B to B+ range. It's okay and it's nice to have a variety but then the variety isn't that great compared to a vegas buffet. I think a Japanese sushi buffet in the US might be better (not in terms of quality but in terms of variety on the sushi). The only sushi that was okay for me for ikura and salmon. Their homemade ice cream was pretty awful as they skimped on the cream. Fruits were a nice thing to have to end the meal like a proper Taiwanese. I would probably prefer having all your can eat haagen daz instead of all those random little cruise quality cakes. Its not bad...but also not great. there is no time limit so you get to go in at 11:30am for lunch and stay until 2pm to slowly drink your latte to digest. It's pretty smart that they give you a glove to grab stuff ...hopefully that helps curb any cross contamination. Service is okay, staff seems disinterested and not all of them were friendly. The chefs were jolly and friendly. I would probably do other buffets next time.

Excellent value for money and a few delicious dishes. Love it. Will be back.
