★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Medium-sized local cinema near the train station in Hualien. The interior was re-designed (not sure how recently) and looks very nice. Inside, the seats were fairly comfortable and the sound/video quality was good. The staff was attentive and quick at tickets and concessions, despite a long wait for an iced milk tea, which turned out way too sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guy said I paid for popcorn But I did not have it on my ticket. Cinema was Nice. The entry from the ricket booth past the ktv next door then up lifts was confusing. The observation deck was so lame it was good. Although maybe at day you Can see mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The price of the movie was affordable for an American, the seats were comfortable enough and all in all, I enjoyed the movie that I went to see.
This particular building is a bit strange though. The ticket window is on the sidewalk on street level, but the actual movie theater is on the 4th floor of the building around the corner on another street. I accidentally walked into the wrong store trying to get to the movie theater room. Also, there was conflicting information on their website and at the ticket counter. The movie that I wanted to see was listed on the website with a showtime, but I was told that that movie was not showing.

They maintain very well in this level 2 restrictions. We have to sit separately (there is a space between the seats), and they gave sheet for ur seat.
