Hospital was dirty. Toilets weren't clean and no toilet paper or hand wash!!

I had a horrible experience with the self-pay Covid testing. Came to this hospital because they offer the Covid test required for travel with no appointment necessary. Everybody lines up outside, which makes sense. Then they pack a large group of people into a small room to fill out paperwork that could have been filled out outside (or before even arriving). Total confusion and chaos. No social distancing. One woman pulled down her mask while making a phone call and when I reported this to a nurse, she asked the woman to put her mask on properly but the nurse seemed totally unconcerned. When I went to pick up my report in the first hospital building, there was a man with a deep, violent cough walking around the cashier area. He looked very unwell. None of the staff seemed concerned even though there is a Covid outbreak taking place. I approached one of the staff and pointed out the man. The staff member later came up to me and told me that they had taken the man's temperature and it was normal so everything was OK. Are you kidding me? After a year of pandemic and in the midst of an outbreak in Taiwan, how can hospital staff not know that it's possible for a person to have Covid and not have a fever, or that people can use antipyretics to mask a fever? I told the staff this and he didn't say a thing. Even if this person didn't have Covid, it's ridiculous that a hospital would not take this matter seriously and isolate the person just in case. Absolutely disturbing and disgusting.

Update: The cashier section is not helpful at all. They take forever to process payments and tend to be very rude. They could use a better system. The volunteers in the blue jackets have more competency than the people manning the counter. The NICU was fantastic in caring for our baby. They made the effort to explain in English, called us often with updates. Overall, a good hospital to have a baby at.
