公墓位處斗六市都市計畫區內，雲林縣政府將依都市計畫程序辦理，以區段徵收方式來開發為社口藝術水岸園區。計畫範圍東至成功路以西農業區，西止於鎮南路，南至大學路，北與成大醫院斗六分院、雲林國小及雲林溪北側住宅區鄰接，計畫面積為24.5041公頃。
未來完成後，可改善社口公墓附近地區生活環境品質，並建立斗六市入口門戶與意象。
The Gongkou Cemetery in Douliu City was developed as the Art Waterfront Park
The cemetery is located in the urban planning area of Douliu City. The Yunlin County Government will handle the project according to the urban planning process and develop it into the Shekou Art Waterfront Park by means of section expropriation. The plan is to the west of the successful road to the west of the agricultural area, west to Zhennan Road, south to the University Road, north to the Chengda Hospital, the Sixth Branch, the Yunlin Elementary School and the Yunlin River north side residential area, with a planned area of 24.5041 hectares.
After the completion of the future, the quality of the living environment in the vicinity of the Shekou Cemetery can be improved, and the entrance portal and image of Douliu City will be established.
