Weston birthday cake shop also sale traditional Chinese luwei not very very tasty but good enough for me . For office people spent US two dollar you can buy some simple lunch around 2 kcal and next-door Starbucks sometime you can get seats if you like US three dollars coffee Amen!

One of my favorite bakeries in Taipei. They have really good bread, especially the peanut butter bread (it's literally butter, not american peanut butter). They also have this mochi with peanut powder wrapped around azuki. SO good. Definitely give it a shot when you're in Taipei!

Amazing variety of confectionery. Shun Chen has 20 outlets and this seems to be one of the bigger ones. We love their bread and are making repeated visits to try all the different ones.

I have gone here to buy some sweets but I have had mild to severe allergic reactions because nobody knows the ingredients of the food except for the chef which is available in the morning only (they don't write down all the ingredients of their food while others do)! And they are even really expensive! So let's tell my story of purchasing: I have an allergy to kiwifruit. They don't write down all the ingredients they use in their sweets although all the other bakeries do. But only if they use mango or peanuts. Basically i asked if there was kiwifruit in the sweets and said I was allergic to it and they said no. After the first bite of the coconut tart I got allergic and couldn't breathe well for two days in a row exactly during weekend and I had to use several different medications to heal my allergy and I even couldn't go out of home since how I felt. I asked for a refund of the price I paid plus a few money for medicines I had spent (I didn't ask for damages...). They gave me but asked me to return the not eaten sweets. Which I did. Useless to say I have sent an email to their email asking for a refund of the damage and of the visit to the doctor and medical test and asking them to starting writing down all the ingredients they use in their sweets. Will update this review if I get a reply (if I don't get, then this will be the final review). Although they said they prepare cakes aside, so kiwifruit was used in another part, I believe they do not follow proper hygienic measures to prevent cross-contact and most of all they may cause life-threatening allergies since the staff who serves the food does not know about the ingredients of the food since only the chef which is available only at the morning knows the ingredients. They have been lucky to have had a kind remind from me before anything more serious could happen. Hope they will change in the future and write down all the ingredients.

Old school bakery with wide selection of healthy and trendy flavours. I had the baked honey cheese cake. It was really light and mild in flavour. Not too sweet. The black sesame mochi was not too sticky to chew and just the right amount of sugar crunch inside.

Come here for a taste of heaven. If like us, u have tried and tasted the #2 and #3 top rated items and wonder where #1 always is, ask the aunty! We were told, “#1 is what u like best”? Cheeky but true! Ours is the Coconut Tart. It tastes heavenly! We also like the cookies, pick and pack. And the red bean loaf, yam loaf, the plainest buns we couldn’t name but always put a smile on our faces!

This bread shop was there when I was a kid, same location but had nicer interior design. The bread is not bad but I like their cooked food section where you can buy braised chicken, tofu, seaweed and more.
