I took one-on-one classes for around 80 hours. I really loved taking the class and everytime I had a lot of fun with my teacher. She prepared a lot of extra and relevant topics for almost each class and whatever question I had she would patiently and in a fun way explain to me. The whole time I felt I am in great hands and all the teachers I met were super friendly. The school is also cute and gives away a very nice atmosphere. I can strongly recommend this school and I hope that myself will have enough time soon again to buy another set of classes. ?

Had great teachers, and for someone learning Mandarin for the first time had a great experience. I did the part time group lessons ( twice weekday evenings, Tuesday and Thursday), and by the end of 4 months I had a survival level of Mandarin. Was very helpful while traveling around Taiwan to different cities. Definitely will recommend and join again if I'm back in Taipei.

Effectively teaches Chinese even to beginners like me! The staff and teachers were very kind, and the class content was flexible to suit my needs. The location was very convenient, the language center was very clean, and the classes also started on time. Definitely highly recommended!

I have been living in Taipei for more than 1.5 years. When I first came to Taipei, I learned Chinese by myself from audiobooks. However, it was difficult for me to practice Chinese since all my colleagues preferred to speak English with me, and I was pretty confident that I could survive living in Taipei without learning Chinese. Therefore, I abandoned the idea of learning Chinese for almost one year. In October 2021, I found the ShuoHao Language Center website on the internet and decided to register for the beginning: level 1 course. The course emphasized Conversation, Listening, Grammar, and Vocabulary, but not Writing. We used A Course in Contemporary Chinese textbook in our class. The book is excellent because the topic discussed in every chapter is very relevant to daily life in Taiwan. At the end of every chapter, there is also an introduction to Chinese culture. My teacher is very patient, dedicated, and not boring at all. She devises many class activities to encourage her students to apply the grammars and vocabulary we have learned in the conversation. She also provides additional materials on her teaching to help us understand the materials in the textbook. Learning Chinese, of course, requires dedication. There were homework and exams every week. At the end of the level 1 course, I felt an improvement in my Chinese skills. Therefore, I decided to continue to the next two levels, finally completing the first book in May 2022. I always feel welcomed at ShuoHao and enjoy the monthly activities organized by ShuoHao, such as water rafting, hiking, laser tag, eating Chinese hotpot, and the New Year party. The location is convenient since it is close to the MRT Da'an station, and the course fee is affordable. Learning Chinese is a difficult task for a beginner like me, and I am fortunate to have had a wonderful experience learning Chinese with ShuoHao. I highly recommend ShuoHao language center to anyone eager to learn Chinese. Thank you, ShuoHao, for being a part of my sweet memories of living in Taiwan!

I took classes there for 1.5 year (total 5*12 weeks) with 4 different teachers. They are all talented and dedicated to teach Chinese, and very welcoming. In addition to that, the Center is conveniently located close to MRT (just note that there is not a lot of restaurants around), with good equipment. I recommend here online, as I recommended to my friends in Taipei. One the few centers where you can go twice per week and after business hours.

I took several group classes, now some private lessons, have been studying with them for almost a year. Small groups, competent and nice teachers with good teaching methods. Big and comfortable classrooms, overall a very friendly and positive atmosphere. Can only recommend for starting and keeping up with learning Chinese.

I love ShuoHao so much. You feel welcome every time you step inside the school. I have never had my Chinese improve faster than when I was at ShuoHao. The teachers are professional and kind. They are just so Good. I can't say enough good things about them. ShuoHao have the best value for learning Chinese anywhere. They do activities around town where you get to test out your Chinese in a fun and safe environment. ShuoHao is just the best.
